Q: What is your pet policy?
Here at
The Club at
Chandler Crossings, we love our furry friends! Pets can bring
so much joy and companionship into our lives. We understand that
they are members of the family, and we want to ensure that they
have a comfortable home here with us. That's why we allow up to two
pets per apartment, at a pet rent of $25 per month per pet. We do
require that all pets be registered on our PetScreening website and
that there is a pet fee of $300 up-front. We also ask that all pet
owners clean up after their animals and be considerate of their
neighbors. We want everyone to enjoy living with us, including our
four-legged friends!
Q. Can I have shelves, curtains, posters,
etc.?
You are welcome to decorate your room with shelves, curtains,
posters, and other items, as long as you do not damage the walls.
If you put holes in the walls, you will be responsible for
repairing them before moving out. We suggest using Command strips
or similar products to hang items on the walls without causing
damage. Thanks for your cooperation!
Q. Can I paint my walls?
You can paint your walls, but you will be responsible for painting
them back to their original color when you move out. This is
because paint is a personal preference, and not everyone will want
the same color as you do. However, if you want to paint your walls,
we recommend using neutral colors that will be easy to repaint.
Thanks for asking!
Q. What does the application and leasing process look
like?
The application and leasing process is simple and easy to follow.
You can complete an online application on
our website with your information and personal preferences.
Once your application is completed and approved, you will receive
the lease for signing through the same applicant account. Our
office will contact you throughout this process should you have any
questions.
This process is designed to be as streamlined as possible so that
you can get into your new apartment with as little stress as
possible. We know that moving can be daunting, so we want to ensure
that the leasing process is one less thing for you to worry about.
If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to
contact our office.
We're here to help!
Q. Do you require renter’s insurance?
You are not required to have renter’s insurance, but it is strongly
encouraged. You will be charged an $11 per month Insurance Waiver
Fee if you do not have liability insurance. Renter’s insurance is
relatively inexpensive and can protect you from potential risks,
such as fire, theft, and water damage. Additionally, most renter’s
insurance policies also provide personal liability coverage, which
can protect you if someone is injured on your property. Ultimately,
deciding whether to purchase renter’s insurance is up to you, but
it is something to consider carefully.
Q. How do I submit a maintenance or service
request?
At your earliest convenience, please submit a maintenance request
through the
ResidentPortal.
You will need to log in with your username and password. Once you
are logged in, select the 'Maintenance Request' form from the
drop-down menu. You will then be prompted to fill out some basic
information about your request, such as a detailed description of
the issue, your apartment number, and your contact information.
Once you submit the form, our maintenance team will be notified and
will work on your request as soon as possible. If you need to
submit a request urgently or have any questions about the process,
please do not hesitate to
call our office, and we would
be happy to assist you. Thank you for your cooperation!
Q. When/How should I set up my utilities?
One of the first things you'll need to do when you move into a new
home is set up your utilities. This can be a bit daunting, but
luckily we're here to help. The first step is to create an account
with Conservice, our utility billing service. You'll receive an
email from us with instructions on how to do this. Once your
account is set up, you'll be able to see all of your utility
details in one place. A $75 set-up fee will be included in your
first utility bill.
Remember that all utilities will be charged to your
ResidentPortal
account, so be sure to keep tabs on your usage. With a little
planning, setting up your utilities doesn't have to be a headache.
Just follow our simple instructions, and you'll be up and
running.
Q. What is the average rent?
Rent prices can vary greatly depending on several factors,
including the size of the apartment and the number of bedrooms and
bathrooms. In general, however, most students can expect to pay
anywhere from $400 to $700 monthly. Of course, there are always
exceptions to the rule, so it's always a good idea to do some
research before you sign a lease.
Q. Where is the nearest public transportation?
Public transportation can be a great way to get around, especially
if you don’t have a vehicle. It can also be convenient if you want
to save money on parking or gasoline. If you’re looking for the
nearest public transportation, we are near the
Capital Area Transit Authority (CATA), which provides bus
service throughout the Lansing area. We have three bus stops within
our community, plus we offer a free bus pass program for those who
qualify. If you’re interested in taking advantage of public
transportation, please don’t hesitate to
contact us for more
information.
Q. How do I pay rent?
Paying rent is easy in our community! You can make online payments
via credit/debit card or e-check through your
ResidentPortal,
or drop off a check, money order, or cashier's check in the rent
box located at the leasing office. Our team is happy to answer any
questions you may have about rent payment, so
please don't hesitate to reach
out if you need assistance. We want to ensure your rental
experience is positive and stress-free from start to finish!
